ITU Recommendations

This is a summary of the main standards areas within the ITU-R and ITU-T. Within each of these classifications there is a large number of individual recommendations. For example, under the ITU-T E-series, recommendation E164 details the International public telecommunications numbering plan. The full list of recommendations is always being added to and the current situation should always be checked directly with the ITU web site via www.itu.int.

The ITU sites referenced from here provide listings of all the recommendations but the recommendations themselves must be purchased or accessed via a licenced mirror site within a telecommunications organisation.
